Special Live-Fire Event
Open to current ADTA Monthly, current ADTA Annual Members only, and New Participants (registration includes one month ADTA membership).

West Coast Armory, Factoria

Building upon our regular New Shooters' Clinic events, this special-engagement Extended Event features a four-hour introduction to live-fire with a variety of firearms, provided by our ADTA members and participants.  We encourage you to bring your firearm and ammunition to share (details below).

This shoot will include semiautomatic handguns, revolvers, shotguns, and rifles (up to .308 caliber) at West Coast's exclusive Law Enforcement/Tactical bay.

Participants should have participated in one of our ADTA New Shooters Clinics / Introduction to Semiautomatic Handgun classroom workshops prior to attending this event, where you'll learn important safety, operation, and gun handling skills.

Registration for this event includes admission, and use of the firearms our members and participants have brought to demonstrate and share.  Ammunition is not included in the registration price.  Members bringing firearms and ammunition to share are encouraged to prepackage the ammunition in $5 increments.  Participants are encouraged to bring $20 to $100 towards their ammunition costs.  $5 in ammunition is roughly 10 shots with most revolvers and semiautomatic pistols, or 5 to 8 rifle shots (depending on caliber).

Participants should bring a hat with a bill, and appropriate eye and ear protection (foam earplugs do work; over-the-ear protection is also appropriate; some participants prefer to use both).

All events will be lead by experienced ADTA members and one on one mentors.  This event is appropriate for all skill levels, but is most tailored to the beginning or inexperienced shooter wishing to learn more about firearms in a safe and friendly group.

Arrival Instructions

At 7:30am, the exterior single door adjacent to the roll-up door on the east end of the driveway will be open for ADTA members.  You will be greeted by an ADTA Range Safety Officer within the hallway beyond the door, who will help direct you to clear and holster your pistol, and provide instructions on the venue.
