"E" Range, Bays 3, 4, and 5
Sunday, January 12, 9:00am to 1:00pm
Please arrive by 8:30am.
Post-event cleanup and activities participation welcome.
Cascade Rifle & Pistol Club Vice President Mike Peterson, Practical Pistol chair Dennis Astell, and ADTA member Mark Knapp invite you to this special opportunity to participate in Cascade's monthly Practical Pistol learning opportunity and exercises.
Cascade's outdoor ranges, located at 26520 292nd Ave SE, Ravensdale, WA 98051 (just 30 minutes east of Federal Way), offer both practical pistol action bays, outdoor pistol ranges, and outdoor rifle ranges. Each month, Cascade hosts a Practical Pistol series in their outdoor action bays, where shooters can improve and test their skills in a series of basic to advanced challenges with steel, paper, or moving targets. Shooters are timed and scored to help them understand their individual improvement, but this isn't a competition shoot.
Events typically have 10 to 30 participants.
This event is operated by Cascade Rifle & Pistol Club, and is open to the public. No preregistration is required. Cost is $10 per shooter, paid at Bay 4. Upon arrival, the greeter at the main gate will direct you to the Practical Pistol event. Cascade waives the event fee for first-time shooters to the Practical Pistol event. Membership is not required to participate.
Along with a good, safe attitude, participants should bring their semiautomatic pistol of choice, at least three magazines, a strong-side holster, a magazine pouch, 100 to 200 rounds of ammunition, and eye and ear protection. This is an outdoor range; please dress accordingly.
