In this seminar you will learn about:

  • The history, trends, and evolution of the “Active Shooter” threat.

  • Situational awareness, things to look for in a room, things to know, and the "normalcy bias".

ADTA Range Safety Officers (RSOs) will be present to assist.  If you normally carry a firearm, you are welcome to do so at this event.  Loaded carry firearms must remain holstered -- no exceptions.  If you would like to bring a firearm to show to the group, or you would like to participate in our hands-on exercises, our Range Safety Officers will help you safely unload and clear your firearm at the door.

Have a question about ADTA membership, events, or activities?  Many ADTA members are available both before and after the presentation to help.  Also please check out the ADTA website at http://armeddefense.org
