ADTA Instructors Workgroup

  • Thursday, April 28, 2016
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Contact ADTA member Chad Hiatt for details

The ADTA Instructors workgroup is where our members collaborate to refine ADTA's teaching approaches and content, and develop their skills in mentoring, unit instruction, range instruction, and range operation.

All ADTA members are welcome to participate; contact ADTA member Chad Hiatt via the online Member's Directory for details.

Instructing is a great volunteer opportunity to help develop your presentation skills, teaching skills, and both solidify and improve your own understanding of firearm operations and self-defense skills.  Instructors participate at all ADTA public outreaches, conduct workshop sessions, and manage and conduct live-fire range exercises.  All ADTA Instructors have also attended and passed the ADTA Range Safety Officer qualification; if you're interested in becoming an ADTA Instructor or contributing to our content development, you're welcome to attend our Instructor Workgroups even as you sign up to become an ADTA Range Safety Officer.

Held the fourth-Thursday of the month, 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
